As Jon and I work on the latest ‘My Own Invention’ album, I’ve secretly been moonlighting – updating my other ongoing project ‘The Happy Vanishing!’ Here’s what’s been going on: Everything has been professionally mastered by Chris Hanzsek at Hanzsek audio mastering. The music has never sounded brighter – and better! This process was long overdue. Each CD also now has CD-text which is a nice little bonus. In some cases artwork has either been enhanced, and/or replaced altogether with something more appropriate. And lastly – there is new music on every release! Sometimes when you finish a project – you cut corners either from lack of resources, energy, ect. So it’s nice to go back and complete things – and at a higher level.
